Launched in 2019, the Academy for System Directors responds to the changing training needs of the top figures in association structures. it also supplements the traditional programme of Directors' seminars with a cycle of initiatives of an informative nature on the evolution of the "profession" of Director and his role.

The Directors Academy aims to:

• promote a knowledge acquisition and development model common to the entire Group;
• provide a toolbox to ensure - thanks to an annual planning of initiatives - the continuous updating of the System's top figures
• give special attention to newly appointed Directors, supporting them in their introduction and knowledge of the System

It consists of:

• Directors' seminars (national, study trip abroad, residential)
• Form Top - New Directors Training
• Breakfast webinars

Director Seminars

This is the training course that accompanies the Director from the beginning of his or her career in the role. It is structured as a workshop in which the Directors of the Associations exchange experiences and ideas, assisted by witnesses and lecturers from inside and outside the System.

Structure:

• National seminar: generally dedicated to topics of strategic and managerial interest for the System
• Study trip abroad: dedicated to an in-depth study of economic realities and international experiences of particular strategic interest for the business system represented by Confindustria
• Residential Seminar of the System's Directors: an annual event where top management meets to examine, discuss and share the issues and strategies which are crucial to the competitiveness of enterprises as well as outlining the framework within which the future action of the Organisation will be developed

Form Top - New Directors Training

The course was created to guide the new Directors in their new role and give them the fundamental references of the System's strategies. It has the objectives of:

• "officially" welcoming the new Directors to Confindustria
• Presenting and exploring the activities and strategic priorities of Viale dell'Astronomia
• Promoting associative networking

Breakfast webinars

The breakfast webinars were created as a 'vertical' in-depth focus on specific topics related to the development of the role. Organised entirely online as "Breakfast with..." meetings, they benefit from the participation of speakers and privileged witnesses on various current and relevant subjects
