The Erasmus +DIGITRONICS Project for the development of digital competences of trainers involved in Mechatronics Training is progressing. The fourth transnational meeting was held in Lyon, France, on 23 and 24 March 2023.
Consistent with the Project's intention to promote hybrid and digital training and working environments, the project coordinator, Interprofessionnelle Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (IPRA) conducted the meeting in a hybrid format, allowing partners who could not be physically present to participate and contribute fully to the decision-making process.
During the two-day meeting, the partners addressed several priorities for action, which, in addition to the management of the Project, concerned the issue of Training of Trainers, the development of training material, and the forthcoming piloting of the DIGITRONICS online course.
On the first day, the partners discussed the upcoming deadlines, presented the learning modules to be used for the DIGITRONICS online training, and shared the feedback from the peer reviewers, which was extremely useful for the progress of the project.
As always, the cultural programme in Erasmus + meetings also has its importance. It was once again the cuisine of Lyon that brought the partners together and stimulated collaboration in the setting of the Auberge des Canuts, an authentic 'bouchon' restaurant serving traditional Lyon cuisine in the heart of Old Lyon, next to the historic Saint-Jean cathedral.
The second day of the meeting was dedicated to testing a demo of a learning module completed on the platform and exchanging views on other technical requirements.
IPRA organised the visit to the Institut des Ressources Industrielles and their 'Learning Factory'. All partners were interested and highlighted about the innovative techniques used to train professionals working in industrial sectors.
The findings of the fourth transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ DIGITRONICS project will enable the partners to continue the development of the online training course, having a clearer definition of the target audience, the training needs expressed by the companies. These meetings represent a unique opportunity for the partners to build stronger relationships, which is essential for the success of the project. As we move into the final phase of the DIGITRONICS project, the partners will be increasingly involved in promoting piloting and starting new collaborations to improve the DIGITRONICS training pathway.
