Innovation Days 2025 Comes to Rome: Final Stop of the Roadshow Dedicated to AI, Green Energy, and Business Internationalization

The journey of Innovation Days 2025 comes to an end in the heart of Italy’s Capital.
On Tuesday, November 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Auditorium della Tecnica Congress Center of Confindustria will host the final stage of the roadshow promoted by Confindustria and Il Sole 24 Ore. Now in its seventh edition, the event brings together businesses, institutions, professionals, and the research community to promote a culture of innovation and sustainable competitiveness.

A day of discussion and networking, organized in collaboration with Sistemi Formativi Confindustria and supported by 4.Manager, will explore the key drivers of growth: digitalization, training, energy sustainability, and new financial tools to support companies in international markets.

Innovation, exports, and talent: Lazio looks to the future

The Rome event opens with a key insight: according to research by the Confindustria Study Center – CSC Advisory, doubling innovation capacity would lead to a 29% increase in exports among advanced economies. This result confirms that innovation and internationalization are now inseparable pillars of global competitiveness.

The Lazio event focuses precisely on these themes, structured around four main areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence in production and governance processes, as a new lever to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making;
  • Energy efficiency and sustainability, from both an environmental and economic perspective;
  • Training and talent attraction, helping companies bridge the technological skills gap;
  • Public and private support for innovation and internationalization, through financial tools and strategic partnerships.

ConfIN Hub: unlocking companies’ digital potential

Among the key contributors is also the Confindustria Innovation Hub (ConfIN Hub), the National Digital Innovation Center of Confindustria, which supports companies on their technological and sustainable transformation paths.

During his dedicated address, Alessandro Francolini, President of the Lazio Digital Innovation Hub, will illustrate how companies can benefit from advanced services offered by the network — from digital maturity assessments to NIS2 cybersecurity, from supply chain digitalization support to data valorization — essential tools for boosting competitiveness and resilience.

Program

The day will open with institutional remarks from:

  • Federico Silvestri, CEO, Gruppo 24 ORE
  • Fabio Tamburini, Editor-in-Chief, Il Sole 24 Ore
  • Luigi Rizzolo, President, SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria
  • Claudio Arcudi, Delegate for University and Research, Unindustria
  • Roberta Angelilli, Vice President and Regional Councillor for Economic Development, Lazio Region

This will be followed by thematic sessions moderated by journalists from Il Sole 24 Ore, including Fabio Carducci and Carlo Festa, who will talk with business representatives, innovation experts, institutions, and technology partners. Topics include:

  • Innovation, exports, and the Space Economy in Lazio
  • Gender gap and innovation, curated by 4.Manager
  • Artificial Intelligence in companies
  • Energy efficiency for industrial sustainability
  • Funding for internationalization and innovation

The event will conclude with a Networking Light Lunch, a moment dedicated to creating new connections and collaboration opportunities among companies, partners, and speakers.
