DIGITRONICS Innovative teaching methodologies for learning in mechatronics: this is the new project addressed to Mechatronics Trainers, designed together with MEDEF Mouvement des entreprises de France to improve learning systems in mechatronic, which is a strategic and constantly evolving sector for European enterprises. The implementation of this Erasmus + Project is carried out by MEDEF AURA IPRA in cooperation with SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, both representative of the National Educational Systems of the business associations in France and Italy, MCDN training centre for trainers in Poland, CIS Business School of Reggio Emilia and Institut Narcís Xifra i Masmitjà- VET Provider in Spain.
Focus of the project: is to enhance training systems for mechatronics using e-learning solutions as well as to encourage the use of digital solutions for teaching and learning mechatronics. By doing this, the project aims to adapt companies’ learning systems in order to face the rapid technological changes in production systems.
Therefore, the project intends to act to improve the professional preparation of trainers, who are engaged in the challenging task of bringing together the digitalisation of education and production systems.
The targets of the project are trainers and training centres specialised in mechatronics. Secondly, companies operating in this sector, interested in suggesting and implementing good teaching practices in mechatronics.
More specifically, DIGITRONICS pursues the following objectives:
- Developing the Competences of the mechatronics trainer. It is intended to create and updated curriculum, to identify and cover all the opportunities and challenges facing the modern mechatronics industry
- raise awareness and foster a change in the trainers' mind-set. The Guidelines "Innovative modular online training" will support trainers to feel more confident in the use of new teaching methods
- Train tutors through mobile learning activities, involving a selected number of VET trainers
Develop training materials on transferable skills for digital learning
