Mobility opportunity for vocational education and International Training
The project "MoveIT - Mobility Opportunity for vocational education and International Training" financed in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme - Action KA1, intends to realize the mobility of VET staff to contribute to the internationalization and innovation of the VET training offer of which the beneficiaries will be trainers training designers, project co-ordinators, experts in assessment and competence validation processes and the SFC organization as a whole, dealing, as a consortium, with all the related territorial training systems (ITS staff and ITS foundations, Confindustria member companies).
The objectives of the project are closely related to the needs of the VET sector:
- Strengthen the European dimension of the VET projects of the SFC consortium, consistent with the qualification framework of the VET system in Europe;
- Innovate the VET offer concerning the issues of green and digital business transition to improve the ability to anticipate and respond adequately to the needs of the territory and the market;
- Strengthen the exchange of European good practices for the development and management of territorial educational ecosystems, focused on addressing the mismatch of labor market skills;
- Increase partnerships between SFC members and University, Enterprise, and VET systems to enhance applied research at the SME level and work-based training pathways.
- Promote self-empowerment and encourage mobility to develop the competence profile for the internationalization of VET staff.
The involvement of target groups will involve short-term mobility in the form of job shadowing with the support of hosting organizations located in Germany, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Finland.
The job shadowing experiences, to be concluded by 30 November 2024, will be oriented towards the knowledge of the practices of using some of the VET innovation and digitization tools including:
- The application of pedagogical approaches centered on digital work-based learning;
- The orientation of young people and the reintegration of adults in STEM/STEAM pathways;
- The involvement of SMEs in the definition processes of problem-based learning approaches;
- The transfer and recognition of work-based learning through micro-credentials
