HOSPITALITY

Sectoral Plan for the Tourism-Hotel Sector.

Provide the receptive tourism sector with the tools to implement an integrated program for updating the skills of their personnel.

LEAD APPLICANT

ATI (Temporary Business Association) between ASSOFORM RIMINI (lead partner) - SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria plays the role of a qualified partner for organizing accompanying activities.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  1. Provide the receptive tourism sector with the tools to implement an integrated program for updating the skills of their personnel.
  2. Transfer knowledge and essential tools to tourism operators and professionals to promote a comprehensive understanding of the tourism sector and encourage a culture of continuous training in business.
  3. Raise the quality level of tourism professions through specific technical actions expressly aimed at strengthening their role in the industry.
  4. Promote the connection between the world of education and the world of work.
  5. Provide support to businesses in the tourism industry (accommodation, recreational, catering, service, transportation, etc.) to enhance Italian hospitality.
  6. Promote Italian hospitality as a hospitality of excellence.
  7. Promote the central role of the worker as an active and proactive subject.

REGIONS INVOLVED

BASILICATA, EMILIA ROMAGNA, LAZIO, LIGURIA, LOMBARDIA, MARCHE, PIEMONTE, SICILIA, VENETO, and TOSCANA.

PROJECT IN NUMBERS

  • 62 beneficiary companies
  • 2,239 total training hours delivered
  • 505 workers involved, 97% of whom come from SMEs

On October 30th, the first seminar of the project, "DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS NETWORKS: THE ROLE OF THE SYSTEM - Tools, methodologies, and actions to promote and support networking processes," will take place at Confindustria Siena.
