I4ES - Innovazione 4.0 per l’Economia della Sostenibilità

The project wants to merge the Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy challenges, which are the two fundamental pillars on which lasting sustainability results are achieved.

Over this period, companies need to develop new skills to effectively manage, implement and improve business innovation processes, working to accelerate the green transition and improve digitisation. To do this, it is important that companies receive the right support to train, inform and retrain their staff and management to meet the guidelines of Industry 4.0 and the Circular Economy.

In order to increase managers’ skills in leading the transition to sustainability, the project aims to carry out 4 main actions:
1) Activities of training and information (follow-up meetings, networking, webinar, newsletter) and seminars;
2) Advanced training for Digital Innovation Hub staff on 4.0 technologies
3) Assistance to enterprises by DIH, which contributes in assessing the sustainable maturity and in designing roadmaps
4) Communication activities, especially designed for managers and businesses, in order to promote a new industrial culture characterised by sustainability and digital innovation.

The project is part of the Innovation Days 2021 agenda, thanks to the collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, bringing the I4ES to an extremely wide and qualified audience at national level.
