It has been proved that Industrial Symbiosis (IS) has the potential to develop and improve circular economy. Yet there is still a gap between skills acquired in training courses and abilities required by industries. Six partners joint forces to reduce this gap and develop a new professional profile, the Industrial Symbiosis Facilitator.

The IS Facilitator has different tasks such as conduct research on his ecosystem, identify and promote synergies between companies, facilitate collaboration with stakeholders etc

Objective:

• - Provide knowledge and competences on industrial Symbiosis;
• - Anticipate new job opportunities;
• - Support businesses when adopting Circular Economy solutions.

For who?

The group target will be professionals and technicians of regional development agencies, local technology centres, local and regional administrations, technology parks as well as any other organisation working in local economy development, which will choose to benefit from the education provided by INSIGHT.

You can develop the fundamental knowledge and skills that will enable you to facilitate the definition of an Industrial Symbiosis process.
