The upcoming activities for FAST - FormAzione per la SaniTà (Training for Health) are scheduled to begin on September 28th. This program, identified by the AVS/089B/17I code, is being implemented thanks to funding from Fondimpresa within the framework of Notice 4/2017. The program is designed to enhance the skills of workers and the competitiveness of businesses in the healthcare sector.

The agreement for this initiative was signed by key stakeholders, including Confindustria (Italian Manufacturers' Association), CGIL (Italian General Confederation of Labour), CISL (Italian Confederation of Workers' Trade Unions), and UIL (Italian Labour Union). Centoform s.r.l., Solco s.r.l., and Itinera Servizi alle Imprese, in collaboration with SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria as the lead partner, are responsible for carrying out the training activities, disseminating project results, and exploring strategic areas for innovation in the healthcare sector, which have an impact on the skills profiles of workers.

The total training hours amount to 1,729 and are distributed across three main areas: "Qualification of production processes and products," "Organizational innovation," and "Digitalization of business processes." The employees participating in these training programs come from 55 companies located in the North (14 companies), Central (21 companies), and South (20 companies) of Italy.

The chosen training methodologies are heavily inspired by Work-Based Learning (WBL), which aims to provide training in close alignment with the emerging needs during the implementation of work processes and the exploration of emerging content within the work context.
