VAL.U.E. C.H.A.IN. Competitiveness for the development and certification of digital and transversal competences of employed people over 50.
VAL.U.E. C.H.A.IN. Competitiveness is the INAPP project in response to the call launched by DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission, funded under the EaSI Programme (Employment and Social Innovation). The aim to support the development of a tailor-made learning offer in the implementation of "Retraining paths" is carried out by the partnership composed, besides INAPP, by:
- ANPAL
- five Training Centres among which SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, ECOLE, CIOFS Formazione Professionale, ASEV, FIDIA
- five Regions including Lazio, Tuscany, Sardinia, Lombardy and the LDA of the Autonomous Province of Trento
- CEREQ, Centre for Studies and Research on Qualification.
In addition, the following Associated Organisations participate as Associated Organisations: The Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, OBR Lombardia Fondimpresa, FOR.TE. and Assolombarda.
Strongly linked to the objectives of the European Digital Development Agenda, the project aims to:
- design and deliver customised training paths in order to increase basic and transversal digital skills;
- increase the skills of adult workers, especially the over 50s with an insufficient level of digital skills and who are facing digital transformation processes in their organisational contexts;
- provide training paths built on the results of competence assessment processes and on the identification of individual objectives (competence assessment procedures and tools are themselves innovative results of the project);
- develop processes and devices for the validation and recognition of gained competences, in close cooperation with the Regions and the Social Partners and in full compliance with the regulations in force, based on the standards of DG Comp 2.1 in order to guarantee established and shared references in the validation and recognition of competences;
- nurture institutional and scientific debate on the topic of digital skills and qualification of adult workers in the EU, through continuous exchange and synergy with existing networks, such as those of the national coordinators of the European Agenda for Adult Learning, the experts who are part of WG ET2020 A.L., the other projects funded under the same EaSI call, the EPALE Platform Ambassadors and the main international organisations such as EAEA and EBSN;
- raise awareness of the long-term benefits for businesses and main stakeholders (representative associations, trade unions, interprofessional funds, public administrations) when investing in skills upgrading and retraining of adult workers and in particular those over 50 years old.
The project will last 24 months and will employ resources amounting to € 864.022,00, of which 80% EU funding, 20% co-financing of the partnership.
