First SFC Friendship Cup
On 30 September, in the stunning setting of the Circolo Foro Italico in Rome, the 'First SFC Friendship Cup' was held: a four-way tournament of tennis involving, in addition to us SFC/Confindustria, the LIUC University, the Luiss University, and Sole24Ore.
During the evening, organised with the Luiss Sports Association, two students were awarded the first 'SFC Graduation Prizes' (related to business topics): for the LIUC, Dr. Laura Pasquariello was awarded, and for the Luiss, Dr. Christian Block.
SFC President Luigi Serra thanked President Riccardo Comerio, who took part in the evening and brought a very competitive team to the Foro Italico, and President Edoardo Garrone, who also fielded a Sole24Ore team that performed very well. And he congratulated President Vincenzo Boccia on LUISS's victory (again this year), expressing his heartfelt thanks to the Luiss Sports Association, which contributed to a splendid moment of sport and friendship.
Heartfelt thanks also go to the DG of Confindustria, Francesca Mariotti, and the DG Luiss, Giovanni Lo Storto, who graced the event with their presence and their heartfelt interventions during the prize-giving ceremony.
For next year, we count on being able to repeat and further improve this beautiful experience, to continue to nurture vital relations in our Confindustria System, emphasising the link between sport, health, and study, trying to do so with a smile and pleasantly and healthily.
