On March 27, 2025, SFC – Sistemi Formativi Confindustria participated in the LazioAbitareGreen initiative, promoted by Lazio Innova, as part of the “open innovation laboratories” supporting companies in the construction sector that are focused on sustainability.

The event took place at the Rossato Spa headquarters in Sermoneta, a leading company in integrated energy systems, and provided an opportunity for dialogue among local stakeholders, businesses, and educational institutions. The goal was to share know-how, best practices, and innovation paths in the construction industry.

Led by President Emiliano Rossato and the company team, the visit offered a concrete demonstration of the systemic approach adopted by the company: a sustainability model that integrates smart technologies, building automation, energy efficiency, and process optimization according to lean production principles.

The ESG certification, obtained in 2024, demonstrates the company’s commitment to combining sustainability and customer focus through streamlined processes and high-efficiency solutions across the entire supply chain.

Key topics discussed included:

• Technological innovation and building automation

• New skills for energy professionals

• Lean thinking and quality in production processes

• Sustainability standards and energy optimization

For SFC, the event was also an opportunity to explore the “work environments” of emerging professions through BSA – Build Skills Academy, the Centre of Vocational Excellence dedicated to Green Building.

Among the 12 training paths offered by BSA, those led by SFC focus on:

• Build Liveable Urban Environments

• Smart, Resilient & Circular Cities

Both courses provide skills directly connected to the ecological transition, addressing topics such as: sustainable urban planning, integration of renewable energies, development of resilient and closed-loop energy systems, waste reduction, and efficiency maximization.

The Rossato Model represents an innovative ecosystem that overcomes the traditional dichotomy between sustainability and technology, combining scientific rigor, environmental responsibility, and human resource development.

SFC thanks Lazio Innova for inviting them to participate in LazioAbitareGreen, a valuable opportunity for shared growth and listening to the needs of local businesses, and Rossato Spa for sharing their expertise and commitment to guiding the company through the challenges of continuous improvement.
