On September 9th, a strategic online workshop will be held as part of the Erasmus+ Blueprint TRIREME project, entitled "Digital & Green Skills Towards Future of The Mobility Ecosystem", organized in collaboration with CIS Reggio Emilia, in the heart of the Italian Motor Valley. As one of Europe's main automotive clusters, this territory represents an advanced ecosystem where technological innovation, manufacturing tradition, and research blend together in a unique way. This environment is the ideal place to understand and discuss the transformations that are shaping the future of the automotive sector.
This event represents a unique opportunity to address, through an interactive meeting, three fundamental themes for the future of the automotive sector, involving industrial leaders, training professionals, and other sector stakeholders.
The workshop will be structured in three main sessions:
1. Emerging Automotive and EV Scenarios in Europe
Alessandro Petrone from SPIN 360 will introduce the proceedings by presenting an overview of future scenarios in the European automotive sector, highlighting innovation trends and changes related to electric mobility. During this phase, participants will be able to leverage their direct experience to highlight opportunities, challenges, and the impacts of transformations at local, national, European, and global levels.
2. Skills and Professionalism for Sector Development
Leonardo Quattrocchi from SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria will lead an in-depth reflection on the strategic skills to develop and emerging professions in the sector. The objective is to rethink the automotive training and professional system, adapting it to new industrial and technological dynamics.
3. Active Participant Engagement through Flash Polls
Participants will be asked to express their views through quick surveys to measure sentiment regarding the topics addressed. This direct dialogue will allow integration of TRIREME survey data with real perceptions from sector stakeholders, facilitating the identification of territorial strategic priorities, skills gaps, and areas of convergence. The result will be the co-creation of concrete recommendations addressed to local and European stakeholders.
The meeting will also feature Francesca Sorbi, General Director of CIS Reggio Emilia, who will emphasize the importance of this initiative in the context of Motor Valley innovation and competitiveness.
