Manager and Artificial Intelligence: Online Competency Assessment Now Available, Final Event on December 4

The revolution brought by Artificial Intelligence is not only technological—it is, above all, a matter of managerial skills. This is the focus of the research project “Managerial Intelligence | Artificial Intelligence”, promoted by Fondirigenti and carried out by the Franco Fontana Research Center for Strategic Change at Luiss Guido Carli University, with the support of Sistemi Formativi Confindustria.

After months of activities and business discussions, a short online questionnaire is now available for managers and key business figures. It aims to assess their competencies and the implementation of AI-related projects. The questionnaire is anonymous, takes about 10 minutes to complete, and the data will be processed exclusively for research purposes, in an aggregated and confidential manner, fully compliant with privacy regulations.

Key Insights from the AI Open Lab

The conclusion of the AI Open Lab—a series of meetings that brought together managers, experts, and distinguished speakers—highlighted several key findings. Companies are increasingly aware of AI’s strategic value and show a solid maturity in soft skills, but some crucial challenges remain:

  • Integrating AI into decision-making processes
  • Strengthening data governance
  • Strategically managing technological projects and partnerships

The exchange among participants from diverse sectors and roles sent a clear message: data-driven decision-making, ethical awareness, and technological understanding are now essential requirements to support innovation and guide organizational transformation.

Save the Date: December 4

The research journey will culminate in a national event on December 4, to be held at the Pininfarina Room of Confindustria headquarters in Rome, Viale dell’Astronomia 30.
The event will present the research findings, feature company case studies, and open a discussion on the future of management in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
