SFC is taking part in Erasmus Days, the European campaign celebrating the achievements of projects co-funded by the European Commission's ERASMUS+ programme.
Each year, the initiative brings together thousands of events promoted by education stakeholders committed to innovating teaching methods and inclusive approaches.
The 2025 edition is dedicated to the EU's founding values: freedom, democracy, equality, respect for human rights, inclusion, human dignity and the rule of law – pillars for active participation in Europe's working and social life. This also showcases the great potential of Erasmus+, an effective European programme that enables the development of shared knowledge for the common good.
This year, we present three products to trigger discussion with VET stakeholders on Educational innovation:
- A summary video of the 20 Erasmus+ mobility experiences undertaken by staff from training organizations within SFC's member network, thanks to the MOVE IT program
- A video highlighting the expected outcomes of MASTERY, a Forward-looking project coordinated by SFC focused on developing microcredentials for green skills that enable sustainable production systems. Following the identification of 12 key competencies based on needs analysis across four sectors (Construction, Agri-food, Wood and Furniture, Manufacturing), these certifications also help professionals at risk of exclusion increase their visibility, employability, and economic and social inclusion. Starting in February 2026, MASTERY training pathways will be available in Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland and Spain through short, flexible, European-recognized modules designed for professionals, managers and entrepreneurs interested in developing practical sustainability skills.

- An Instagram live session on October 16th at 12:00 PM on SFC's profile, sharing the results of ongoing Erasmus+ initiatives focused on green skills with an even wider community.
"Green Skills in Action: From Industrial Symbiosis to STEM Careers for Women. Erasmus+ Contribution to Sustainability" is the central theme around which SFC opens a live dialogue with experts involved in implementing the MASTERY, GREENEFY and INSET initiatives, showcasing education innovation from a European perspective.
Promoting gender equality is GREENEFY's core mission – an initiative aimed at increasing the attraction of women, both young and adult, to STEM careers, with the goal of improving their employability and enabling them to choose to invest their future in innovative development paths for sustainability.
Democracy and competitiveness can be combined in local, shared and sustainable development processes. Industrial Symbiosis is one framework where both concepts become reality, by introducing sustainable production system approaches into local development networks through the recovery and reintegration of industrial by-products into production circuits.
The Instagram live will be hosted by Paola Previdi, CEO of SFC, in conversation with Elena Romanini, researcher on education innovation initiatives, Enzo Faloci, expert in developing local and international development networks, and Valentina Scavelli, sustainability and energy expert.
