
SFC, coordinator of the Grapes of Change project under the European CERV Programme, announces that the first edition of the Grapes of Change Bulletin is now available online.
The Bulletin explains the rationale behind the Grapes of Change partnership’s decision to launch an initiative to combat gender-based violence across the wine supply chain—from the vineyard to the point of sale—promoting safer, more inclusive, and respectful workplaces throughout the wine sector.
The first issue covers the following topics:
- Why the European Grapes of Change Observatory on Gender Equality in the Wine Sector was established.
- Where are we now? An overview of the project’s progress, including the development of systems to monitor and address gender-based violence and workplace discrimination.
- What do the experts say? Key insights from national focus groups at the European level.
- A case study of the Talamonti winery, highlighting how gender equality has been integrated into its organisational model.
