The European Green Deal as well the new global economic trend is demanding SMEs to face the new energetic, climatic, and environmental challenges. The urgency of the business strategies to be undertaken and the existing professional and entrepreneurial gaps prompted the 3LoE partnership to develop a proposal for a Green Economy training centre of excellence.
Among the 7 Pilot projects selected for funding ERASMUS+ Support for Policy Reform 2020 Call, the “3LoE Three-level centres of professional excellence: Qualification, entrepreneurship and innovation in the Green Economy” has been recognised as eligible for funding and its development is ongoing
3LoE is leading by HANSE PARLAMENT (Germany). The project involves 7 European countries, 21 organisations from Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain. During the project time life of 4 years, the partnership intends to expand transnational cooperation on Green Economy.
The project implements a wide range of vocational education, training and higher education measures concerning green economy, digitalization and entrepreneurship, The activities are organised into 3 clusters:
Cluster 1: teaching and Learning
Professional trainings will be provided on an ongoing basis. Different Curricula based on various technical and strategic skills will be developed, as well as High Education programmes and flexible VET courses. Moreover, consultancy services and validation of the learning process will be guaranteed.
Cluster 2: Cooperation and Partnership
3LoE will contribute in enhancing the network between businesses and training institutes for apprenticeship and internships by supporting facilities’ sharing, ideas’ exchanges between professionals and trainers. Cooperation between SMEs and innovation centres will be encouraged as well as hubs for students’ professional trainings and managerial growth.
Cluster 3: management and Financing
The partnership will encourage sustainable financial models, able to manage public funds, EU and private funds and other revenue sources.
To provide support to SMEs and to develop training systems on Education and Labour the project aims to:
- Create a network for transnational cooperation for training Centres, Businesses, Study and Innovation Centres and local authority with the vision to support Green Economy and SMEs;
- Build relationships with local and transnational actors committed to develop Green Economy by promoting mutual benefits;
- Encourage trainings on Green Economy to be considered as a chance to develop innovative strategies.
