VAL.U.E. C.H.A.IN. COMPETITIVENESS

VAL.U.E. C.H.A.IN. Competitiveness is a project by INAPP in response to a call for proposals issued by the DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission, financed under the EaSI (Employment and Social Innovation) Program. The project's aim is to support the development of customized learning offerings in the implementation of "Reskilling Pathways." It is carried out by a partnership that includes, in addition to INAPP, the following entities:

  • ANPAL
  • Five Training Centers including SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, ECOLE, CIOFS Formazione Professionale, ASEV, FIDIA
  • Five Regions including Lazio, Toscana, Sardegna, Lombardia, and the AdL of the Provincia Autonoma di Trento
  • CEREQ, Center for Studies and Research on Qualifications

Additionally, the project involves Associated Organizations such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, OBR Lombardia, Fondimpresa, FOR.TE, and Assolombarda.

Closely aligned with the objectives of the European Digital Development Agenda, the project aims to:

  1. Design and deliver customized training pathways to increase basic digital skills and transversal skills.
  2. Enhance the skills of adult workers, especially those over 50 with insufficient digital skills who are facing digital transformation processes in their organizational contexts.
  3. Deliver training pathways built on the results of skills assessment processes and the identification of individual goals (the skills assessment procedures and tools themselves are innovative project outcomes).
  4. Develop processes and mechanisms for validating and recognizing acquired competencies in close collaboration with regions and social partners, in full compliance with current regulations, based on the standards of DG Comp 2.1 to ensure established and shared references in the validation and recognition of skills.
  5. Foster institutional and scientific dialogue on the topic of Digital Skills and the qualification of adult workers in the EU through continuous exchange and synergy with existing networks, such as those of national coordinators for the European Agenda for Adult Learning, experts involved in the WG ET2020 A.L., other projects financed under the same EaSI call, Ambassadors of the EPALE platform, and major international organizations such as EAEA and EBSN.
  6. Raise awareness of the long-term benefits for the business system and its main stakeholders (representative associations, trade unions, interprofessional funds, public administrations) when investing in the improvement of skills and the reskilling of adult workers, especially those over 50.

The project will last for 24 months and will utilize resources amounting to €864,022.00, of which 80% is financed by the EU - EaSI Program, and 20% is co-financed by the partnership.
