SIS - Business Development in Safety
This is the slogan of the project that Confindustria launched to promote a cultural change regarding health and safety at work. It's an intense communication and dissemination campaign aimed at entrepreneurs and managers with the goal of spreading the culture of preventing workplace risks as an ethical imperative and social responsibility, as well as a determining factor for the quality of work and the competitiveness of the company.
In the years 2009-2010, 23 meetings were organized, involving over 2000 entrepreneurs and managers, and 11 more events are planned for 2011. The program also includes the collection and systematization of best practices in workplace safety and a concluding event, the Safety Day, dedicated to the widespread dissemination of the culture of workplace safety.
The project, strongly supported by Confindustria's Technical Committee for Health and Safety at Work, chaired by Salomone Gattegno, consists of a series of meetings with informative and training purposes, organized throughout Italy with the support of Confindustria's system associations.
It's a highly engaging and interactive format that, through testimonials, videos, and concrete proposals, aims to address the topic from multiple angles, to develop a perspective that frames safety as a competitive advantage in a company's economy and as a concrete daily habit in work life.
