Notice 1/2011 Fondirigent

With Global Challenge, Confindustria and Federmanager promote a development program for participating executives aimed at strengthening the skills of a conscious, prepared, and motivated management class. These executives should be capable of being both business leaders and leaders at the local, national, and European levels.

This comprehensive development program focuses on enhancing personal and professional knowledge and skills to:

  1. Provide essential tools for understanding and managing complex current scenarios.
  2. Support management in the necessary processes of innovation and reorganization of the companies they work for.
  3. Enhance the personal and professional skills of the participating executives.

The program includes three types of training interventions:

  1. Learning Tours: Learning tours provide participants with an intensive and significant learning experience. These tours not only enhance participants' culture of comparison and openness to new economic and social models but also help develop ideas and innovations that can be applied to their professional and personal lives. The chosen destinations are particularly relevant in the current international cultural and economic context, and the programs include meetings with institutions and companies, visits to various economic, social, and organizational realities that present effective experiences, models, and projects.

    Examples of learning tours:

    • Learning Tour in India, New Delhi – Mumbai, January 4-9, 2011.
    • Learning Tour in Poland, Warsaw - Krakow, July 21-24, 2011.
  2. Thematic Seminars: Thematic seminars aim to deepen different scenarios and contexts and provide formative paths for sharing experiences that can lead to the development of skills for anticipating and managing change. These seminars are structured to allow participants to receive and process key information on the theme and feature the participation of national and international experts, as well as significant testimonies for understanding the theme of the meeting and exchanging good practices and innovative solutions.

    Examples of thematic seminars:

    • From Future Threats to Sustainable Futures: Practical Cases of 360° Sustainability (Cosenza, May 12-14, 2011).
    • Future Scenarios and Mastering Complexity (Genoa, June 16-17, 2011).
    • Leadership and Associative Governance (Monza, September 15-16, 2011).
  3. Specialized Pathways: Continuous updating of the technical and specialized skills of management in companies is one of the main strategic assets for their development and the overall improvement of the competitiveness of the Italian production system. In particular, seminars will be organized on topics that have been of particular interest to Italian companies at this time:
