Training and Updating for Health and Safety at Work

The training plan "SICURAMENTE - Training and Updating for Health and Safety at Work," in line with the goals set out in Notice 1/2013, aims to contribute to raising safety levels in workplaces and improving prevention and protection for workers and companies affiliated with Fondimpresa operating in the province of Latina. It particularly focuses on non-Italian workers, those under the age of 32, employees with less than 12 months of service, and female workers.

The types and thematic areas covered by the plan include:

  1. Health and safety: Training initiatives aimed at increasing health and safety in the workplace, with a systemic approach, and improving prevention and protection against accidents and occupational diseases.
  2. Environmental management and safety: Training actions related to aspects of occupational health and safety directly linked to the Environmental Management System.
  3. Integrated management systems: Developing competencies in safety and health protection as part of interventions to introduce safety management systems or integrated quality, environmental, and safety management systems.

The project, based on identified training needs, aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Improve and update theoretical and practical knowledge of workers in the field of health and safety, especially in light of the changes introduced by Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments.
  • Promote an active role for all workers in safety management, including through effective company communication.
  • Develop specialized professional skills useful for introducing safety management systems and integrated quality, environmental, and safety management systems in the workplace.

The training plan includes a variety of activities, such as meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences, totaling approximately 800 hours of training. Around 80% of the training is conducted in classrooms, with the remaining 20% delivered through seminars, distance learning, e-learning, action learning, and coaching.

The plan was presented at a specific event on September 18th, with coverage and articles in various local media and online sources, as indicated in the provided list of websites.
