“SEAL – Seniors’LeArning vaLue”  is an Erasmus Plus Strategic Partership, led by SFC and realised in collaboration with Pedagogical Faculty of Varsavia University “Janusz Korczak”, Bucarest Polytechnical, Faculty of Applied Science in Graz “FH Joanneum”, the CIS Business Management School of Reggio Emilia and the public agency FIPAG – Formation et Insertion Professionelle in Grenoble.

The aim of the project is to promote senior workers’ profiles in Europe, as they are more exposed to changes caused by technological innovation.

SEAL wants to create a new training system and a new skills profile which will enable senior workers to stand out and being recognised as ‘Senior Learning Facilitator’ both within the company and in external contests such as business incubators and innovation hubs.

Moreover, according to the EU Council Recommendation COM(2017) 563 final on the European framework for Efficient and High-quality Apprenticeship, the Senior Learning Facilitator is an experimental role, concrete and feasible transnationally.

Outcomes:

1. Creation of a common European framework of skills for the Senior Learning Facilitator
2. A SEAL e-learning platform with self-assessment tools, teaching resources to improve SLF trainings as well as vocational guidance instruments to implement training courses for young talents within the company
3. Pilot training activities and activation of learning processes for 80 workers from 5 different partners country
4. National actions plan to validate and certify the skills achieved during the training and to introduce the role of SLF in the cooperation process between Business and VET Provider
5. Roadmap for transnational sustainability for SLF profiles in the co-planning process between Business and VET Provider
