Made In Italy 2

Fondimpresa - Notice 1/2007

The footwear industry is one of the excellence sectors of the Made in Italy, and the attention given to professional training can ensure its competitive strengthening.

The objective of the project is to train workers primarily from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the sector with the intention of:

  • Supporting the technological, organizational, and market development of companies.
  • Promoting the development of technical and professional skills, thereby improving the sector's competitiveness.

The regions with a pronounced focus on the footwear sector, particularly Veneto, Emilia Romagna, and Marche, have been more involved in project activities due to the significant participation of numerous sector companies (37) located in their respective districts.

The project's interventions, carried out in 2008, have supported the 37 involved companies (33 SMEs and 4 large companies) in their technological, organizational, and market development, as well as in enhancing the technical and professional skills of their employees and improving their competitiveness.
