Enrolment is now open for the 2020 Statistical-Economic Training School, created by the Confindustria Studies Centre in collaboration with LUISS and SFC-Altascuola Confindustria.
Until September 30, graduate officers of Confindustria Associations and member companies can enrol at favourable terms in the course, which this year has been recognized as a "University Course of Advanced Studies", with legal value and valid 12 training credits.
Conceived in response to a request from the associations, it offers the necessary tools to know, understand and communicate economic data. The lecturers come from LUISS, Bank of Italy, ISTAT and CSC.
The course takes place entirely online and lasts 100 hours. The partnership with LUISS has favoured an increase of the training offer and will allow participants to follow the lessons through the advanced platform "LUISS Learn". The lessons will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., starting from the second half of October 2020 until the end of March 2021.
Among the main topics of the 2020 edition, statistics will be analysed, existing economic-financial indicators will be analysed, and two major thematic areas will be explored: enterprises and families/companies, with a focus on manufacturing-related issues. The Centro Studi Confindustria will take a highly practical and operational approach to the modules dedicated to the preparation of reports or brief notes along the lines of those published periodically by the CSC.
The course also includes sessions dedicated to strengthening the techniques of Communication of statistical and economic information, which are fundamental for drafting speeches and thematic reports, as well as for managing interviews and relations with the media.
At the end of the cycle of seminars, each Association will create a project work on a topic of interest.
