
SFC achieves a milestone in the European Education framework, becoming member of the COVE Centre of Excellence for VET Training on Green Economy.
The project called "3LoE Three-level centres of professional excellence: Qualification, entrepreneurship and innovation in the Green Economy" is led by HANSE PARLAMENT (Germany) and is financed under the Erasmus Plus Key Action 3 to support policy reforms in education.
Seven European countries are involved, represented by 21 organisations from Education, Research and Entrepreneurship coming from Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Spain.
The 3LoE Action Plan will run for a 4-year period, covering 3 clusters of activities to
- setting up a transnational cooperation platform that will bring together Training Centres, Enterprises, Universities, Research and Innovation Centres from the territory, local authorities with a common interest in promoting sectors and occupations to support the Green Economy and SMEs.
- to establish strong and lasting relationships both locally and transnationally for the Green Economy, promoting mutually beneficial interactions between training and employment
- - promote vocational, continuous, and higher education training to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the Green Economy. The training offer will be firmly embedded in broader frameworks of regional development, innovation and/or smart specialisation strategies.
