THE SECOND EDITION OF THE "BEST PERFORMER IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY" COMPETITION IS LAUNCHED

Following the successful outcome of the first 2018-2019 edition, the new 2019-2020 edition of the competition devised by Confindustria, supported by 4. Manager is starting again.
The initiative is part of the project dedicated to the information and training of companies on the topics of the Circular Economy. It has received great consensus and unanimous appreciation from businesses and institutions, due to the level and quality of the training initiatives carried out on the territory, the numerous case histories collected and reported on the website, as well as the competition dedicated to the "Best Performer" companies.
The positive feedback confirms the interest and attention of companies on issues of sustainability and the transition to the Circular Economy, which is one of the most important pillars of the industrial policies supported by Confindustria. This is an attitude that is increasingly spreading globally, both in the business and institutional world, as well as more generally in civil society.
For these reasons, Confindustria and 4. Manager plan to pursue systematically and continuously communication and training activities on sustainability issues and on innovations, including technical, organisational, and legislative measures, to support the transition from a "linear" to a "circular" economy. In this perspective, the 2nd edition 2019-2020 of the competition dedicated to the Best Performers of the Circular Economy has been launched. The award ceremony will be held in Milan in February 2020 as part of Connext, the important industrial partnership event organised by Confindustria.
Starting from 7 October and until 31 December 2019, all companies can apply and participate in the new edition of the "Best Performer of the Circular Economy" competition by filling in the online questionnaire.
This new edition of the Confindustria and 4. Manager award also aims to continue mapping the most significant case histories. In addition to the first 60 cases already mapped and made available for consultation, the collection of projects carried out by companies that have made the Circular Economy and sustainability a driver of development will continue. From this year, it will also be possible to become part of the collection of case histories directly by filling in the questionnaire for the competition. In fact, companies will be able to provide the materials and the audio interview necessary to apply to become one of the success stories, by completing the fourth and final part of the questionnaire.
