On the website, which can be accessed at this LINK, you can find important information about the project's objectives, partnership details, and access to reports, studies, and updates on mechatronics trainer competencies.
Among the initial documents that have been created and published, you can benefit from the first result, which is the benchmark of competencies required for mechatronics trainers. These competencies are essential for mechatronics trainers from both a social and technical perspective and have been identified through national benchmarks, consultations with experts, and trainers. By identifying these competencies for trainers, the consortium has also identified the competencies necessary for mechatronics professionals.
The most interesting and dynamic section, still under development, is that of E-learning modules or "distance learning courses." DIGITRONICS partners are working hard to create a resource that enables trainers to improve their teaching practices and pursue their professional development. The goal is to create more interactive and engaging courses for trainers.
The courses available for mechatronics trainers and/or professionals will cover topics such as improving pedagogical, digital, and transversal competencies to ensure that the typical multidisciplinarity of mechatronics is supported by collaborative practices of interdisciplinary student groups, with adequate team management skills, and a focus on sustainable mechatronics development in environmental, social, and ethical aspects.
