The Erasmus Days edition 2024 is back, and for SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, this year's focus is on innovating work-based learning environments.
On October 18, 2024, from 12:00 onwards, the Deal with Digital WBL working group and international experts in educational digital innovation will discuss how digital tools—such as simulators, AR and VR environments, and immersive environments—impact work-based learning systems, and whether a rethinking or change in methodologies and pedagogical approaches for youth and adults is necessary.
We will explore immersive, virtual, and digitized environments that are increasingly oriented toward more realistic learning settings, capable of stimulating trainers and students to adopt new teaching and learning methodologies.
During the event, we will present the results of the Erasmus+ Deal with Digital WBL project and discuss how vocational training system instructors with varying levels of digital literacy can create learning environments related to technologies used in production systems and provide students with skills and abilities for appropriate job placement. Digital WBL is an Erasmus+ co-funded initiative to develop a pedagogical approach supporting VET teachers in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning experiences using digital tools.
