SFC at the Green Executive Forum 2025: the first forum in Lazio dedicated to green professions, where companies and talents meet to build the future of the ecological transition. A day of dialogue between businesses, young professionals, institutions and educational organizations, to put skills at the center of change.
The Green Economy is currently experiencing a boom in demand for specialized figures in strategic areas such as Renewable Energy, Sustainable Construction, Urban Regeneration, Circular Economy, Sustainable Mobility and Biodiversity.
According to LinkedIn's Green Skills Report 2024, between 2021 and 2024 the global demand for sustainability professionals has grown significantly. However, a strong gap remains between business needs and the supply of young people with adequate qualifications. The Green Executive Forum was born from this urgency, which through an integrated system of presentations, workshops and matching, aims to create strategic connections between companies and young professionals, stimulating new opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
Among the protagonists of the 2025 edition, SFC Sistemi Formativi Confindustria participates by bringing its contribution on the topic of skills for green building and urban innovation, central to addressing the ongoing transformation in the construction sector.
At the center of SFC's contribution will be the impacts of digital and green change that the construction sector will have to face: technological innovations called for by the dual digital and environmental transition, the effects of the European and national regulatory framework for decarbonization and optimization of resource use, the shortage of workers and the internationalization of contracts that lead to increasing the sector's needs to work in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams. All this determines a growing demand for technical and transversal skills of the new generation.
For years engaged in the upskilling and reskilling of workers in the sector, SFC will share the results and development trajectories of sectoral training derived from the European project BuildSkills Academy (BSA), Center of Excellence for Training (CoVE) co-financed by Erasmus+, which aims to develop and certify transitional skills – the key competencies for the dual transition – and build an integrated European training ecosystem, capable of responding in a coordinated way to the new needs of the labor market in the construction sector.
During the Forum, Ivana Russiello will speak for SFC on the topic "Professions at the center of urban transformation and the evolution of the green building supply chain", highlighting emerging competencies at the European level. SFC's participation in this event is consistent with the collaboration with Lazio Innova and the territorial co-design model promoted by Spazio Innova Colleferro, within the Lazio Abitare Green initiative.
